The Sugar Beach Golf & Spa Resort five star hotel can be qualified as heaven to travellers seeking to discover world cuisines. Not only is the food delicious, but guests also get to enjoy matching cultural activities featured at each of our restaurants.
Our main restaurant, the Mon Plaisir, is located by the pool. Dinner is served every day from 7.30 p.m to 10.30 p.m. Each day corresponds to a specific themed buffet such as Indian, Mauritian, Lebanese, Italian, French etc. On Wednesdays, guests can have an overview of the Mauritian cuisine. They can choose between multiple Mauritian dishes while eating in a relaxed and delightful atmosphere.
Shows are coordinated to match the dinner’s theme. For example, after a typical Mauritian dinner, guests can enjoy our Mauritian Sega music and dance. After the shows, the DJ continues the musical interlude until 2am.
The Mon Plaisir can cater to all needs; couples for instance can choose to have a romantic dinner by the pool while big tables can be arranged for convivial family dinners.
