Designed by the famous golf player Bernhard Langer, Ile Aux Cerfs Golf Club is accessible to players of all levels. The course covers 38 hectares on the southern half of the island Ile aux Cerfs island with the holes snaking up and down the length of the island, boasting naturally undulating topography, volcanic rock outcrops, lakes and gullies, and a variety of tropical trees and plants overlooking the Indian Ocean.
All 18 holes of this island golf have views of the ocean – some with glimpses across clearings through the trees; others by coming close to the shore. Expansive white sand bunkers and water set off the natural backdrop of trees and vegetation perfectly.
Ile Aux Cerfs Golf Club has a Golf Academy, and a pro-shop as well as restaurants; Langer’s Bar & Grill and Flibustiers Beach Grill to offer a culinary voyage to the golfers.
The Tamarina Golf Course, where Africa meets golf in Mauritius
Open since October 2006, Tamarina Golf Club is not only set in a stunning
environment, but also offers a fun and challenging test of all golfing skills with an air of the African Savannah hangs over this 43 hectare golf course in Mauritius. Yes, it is long and demanding from the blacks...and well it should be. The majestic trees and the distant mountains reign over this 18-Hole championship course that is played on the banks of Rivière Rempart.
Rodney Wright designed this Par 72, 18-Hole championship course of 206 hectares, one of the longest on the island of Mauritius.
